How it works

Botín Gratis gathers every game that's free right now across several stores on a single board. No accounts, no newsletters, no tracking cookies.

The three sections

• Free to keep — claim it once and it's yours, with no expiry date.
• Last chance — games about to be removed from the store; add them to your library before they close and you keep them.
• Free this week — free weekends: free to play for a limited time, but you don't keep it.

Where the data comes from

It's fetched live, with no API key, and refreshed every 30 minutes:

• Epic Games Store — its public promotions endpoint.
• CheapShark — Steam, GOG, Humble, Fanatical and ~30 more stores, filtered to what costs $0.
• GamerPower — full-game giveaways from Ubisoft, EA, Prime Gaming and others.

Delistings, free weekends and Rockstar have no reliable public source, so they're added by hand. A game whose end date has passed disappears on its own.

Bots and unofficial sources

For Prime Gaming games we read the public page of Luna (Amazon), and for key drops the Legion Gaming community (Lenovo). These are open pages, with no login, and not official APIs. The bot identifies itself as BotinGratisBot, checks only a few times a day, never claims anything for you and stops if it gets blocked. We show the title, image, a short description, dates and where to redeem, as they publish them, and Steam fills in whatever is missing (price, text). Every card links to the original page and credits the source.

Botín Gratis is not affiliated with Amazon, Lenovo, Steam, Epic or any store. If a source asks us to, or stops working, we switch to manual entry or take the content down.

API

Everything is also available as JSON at /api/games and as RSS at /feed.xml.

Widget for your site

You can embed the list of free games on your blog or site with an iframe. It updates itself. The ?n= parameter sets how many are shown (3–20), and lang=en shows it in English.
