Developers

The same data shown on the board is available as JSON, RSS and an embeddable widget. No account, no API key, no documented rate limit — we just ask that you send a User-Agent identifying your project and, if you can, credit Botín Gratis as the source.

API — GET /api/games

Returns the whole board, unfiltered, refreshed every 30 minutes. CORS-enabled for any origin.

failedSources lists which source (Epic, CheapShark, GamerPower...) failed on that read, if any — so you know if the board is incomplete instead of guessing. Each item in games has:

• id, title, url, image — unique id, title, claim link and cover image.
• store / storeLabel — store key (steam, epic, gog, humble, fanatical, prime, other) and its display name.
• category — keep (yours forever), lastchance (about to be delisted), weekend (free for a limited time, not kept), or perk (requires something).
• requires / redeemOn / regions — only on perk: what's needed (e.g. prime), where it's redeemed, and which countries it applies to.
• platform — pc (if the field is absent), android, ios, xbox or playstation.
• originalPrice, endsAt, startsAt, firstSeenAt — regular price in USD, and the three relevant ISO dates (endsAt can be null when unknown).
• os — Windows/Mac/Linux support, only when it could be determined (via Steam).
• genres — the game's genres when resolved; may be missing.
• rating — Steam reviews and/or a RAWG score, when available.
• description / descriptionEn — the store description, in Spanish and English when available.

RSS — /feed.xml

Standard RSS 2.0, one <item> per game with title, link, category, publish date (when it first showed up) and a description with price, end date and claim link. Built for feed readers, IFTTT, Zapier or a Discord bot. There's an English version at /en/feed.xml.

Widget — /widget

A self-updating iframe, ready to paste into a blog or site. Query string parameters:

• n — how many games to show, 3 to 20 (defaults to 8).
• lang — en for the English version; anything else (or nothing) gives Spanish.

Fair use

This is all free, from a personal, non-profit project — use it for whatever you'd like. If your integration polls often, please cache the response for at least a few minutes instead of fetching on every visit. Built something with this, or missing a field you need? Let me know.
